‘What drove me to join as a founding member of Mujeres in Marketing was my desire to create a supportive and empowering community for Latina women in the marketing industry. My journey began when I realized the significant gap in outreach to the Hispanic community while running the “Color de Vida” campaign for the American Cancer Society. This experience highlighted the need for better communication and support for Hispanic women, which I have continued to address through my work with BOLD and various community organizations.
As a woman in marketing, a Latina in the field, and a business owner, I have encountered many challenges on my path. Throughout my career, I have seen the unique challenges and opportunities that Latina women face, and I wanted to help build a platform that fosters professional growth, mentorship, and a strong sense of belonging.
If I can shorten the path for another professional Latina, marketer, or Latina business owner by sharing my journey and contributing to this initiative, that is one of my biggest purposes. Mujeres in Marketing is about giving back, nurturing talent, and ensuring that every Latina marketer has the resources and support they need to succeed and thrive.”
