About Us
Mujeres in Marketing (MiM) is a poderosa community dedicated to uniting and empowering Latinas across the marketing, advertising, and communications industry.
A Zippia study released in April 2024 reported that Hispanic/Latinos make up 12.8% of the marketing workforce in the United States, second only to white professionals at 66.9% – with women making up 47.8% of marketing roles in the US. MiM seeks to provide community and resources to enable Latina leadership in these industries – because we realize our potential, we don’t just believe in it.
MiM is committed to fostering a supportive network that provides community, resources, and opportunities essential for the professional growth and visibility of Latinas in marketing and adjacent industries. We understand the profound impact Latinas can make—not only as consumers wielding over $2.5 trillion in buying power in the U.S. alone but also as influential marketers shaping industry trends and consumer interactions.
Despite the significant presence of Latinas in the industry, there remains a distinct lack of resources that easily meets their needs and ambitions. Mujeres in Marketing was created to fill this gap, ensuring Latinas have access to the tools and knowledge necessary to excel and lead – because our poder is only enabled by our ability to unite and uplift each other.
